Christina Ricci has joined the cast of the upcoming drama Mother’s Day, Deadline reports. Her role is currently uncertain, but she’ll star opposite the real-life mother/daughter pair of Susan Sarandon and Eva Amurri Martino.

The film, written and directed by Paul Duddridge, is said to follows 12 sets of mothers and daughters over the course of a single Mother’s Day.

Ricci recently appeared on the television series “Pan Am” and will, coming up, provide a voice for Sony’s The Smurfs 2.
